PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a loop signal from a target by transmitting a radar wave, to detect a detailed distance and a velocity from each target, and reduce the wasteful consumption of power in the target. SOLUTION: During the operation of a wireless communication function, a control section 101 outputs packet data PD containing station ID information that specifies a targeted active target device, and a modulation circuit 105 transmits the data by superimposing them to a radar wave from an oscillator 104. The active target device activates loop back transmission when it receives its station ID information, and during the operation of a radar function, a mixer 108 detects a beat signal by mixing the loop back transmitted radar wave with a portion of the transmitted radar wave.
