PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a lance pipe which is capable of easily, reliably and consistently fixing and holding a base end of the lance pipe, and safely fitting the lance pipe irrespective of the fitting order, and allowing oxygen leakage to hardly occur, simple in constitution, easily handled, excellent in durability, easy for maintenance, suitable for mass production, and economical. SOLUTION: The holder for the lance pipe includes a holder body 1, a cylindrical elastic body 10, an elastic spring 25, a spacer 15, a receiving cylinder 30, a push washer 20, and an outer cylinder 40. By the movement of the outer cylinder 40, a fastening hole 11 of the cylindrical elastic body 10 fastens an outer circumferential surface of the lance pipe P, the outer circumferential surface of the lance pipe P can be pressed and stopped by a fore end of a fixed screw 45 screwed to a female screw hole 44 in the outer cylinder 40. A spring storage part 8 has a diameter smaller than that of an elastic body storage part 7, and a base end of the lance pipe P can be inserted therein, and the repulsive force of the elastic spring 25 constantly urges the lance pipe P to the pressing direction to the tip side.
