PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of improving compression efficiency by increasing heat exchange efficiency of spray droplets. SOLUTION: The compressor comprises: an impeller 3; a casing body 10 accommodating the impeller 3 and containing a flow passage R<SB>1</SB>formed to feed air to the impeller 3; and an atomizing unit 30 disposed upstream of the impeller 3 in the flow passage R<SB>1</SB>and spraying spray droplets in the air, of a grain size evaporable in an energizing region in which the impeller 3 imparts energy to the air.
