PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for a vehicle capable of suitably regulating gas outflow caused by a vent hole cover. SOLUTION: The air bag device 10 for the vehicle comprises the vent hole cover 18 for covering a vent hole 31. The vent hole cover 18 has a lower end 32a, a left sewn end 33a and a right sewn end 33b supported to a center part 17a, left sewn parts 25c, 26c and right sewn parts 25d, 26d separated by predetermined distances from the vent hole 31, respectively. The vent hole cover 18 is provided to hardly stretch in the directions of: connecting the lower end 32a to the vent hole 31; connecting the left sewn end 33a to the vent hole 31; and connecting the right sewn end 33b to the vent hole 31.
