PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a suction nozzle attachment for a vacuum cleaner which has a structure for preventing easy separation of pile pads from a suction nozzle body. SOLUTION: The pile pads (3a-3e) are fixed at the bottom of the nozzle body (1) constituting a suction nozzle attachment for the vacuum cleaner. The pile pad has a base fabric (10) and pile yarns (11). The base fabric is provided with reinforcement portions (10b, 10c) without the pile yarn on both sides of a part having implanted pile yarns. The reinforcement portions of the base fabric are inserted into slits (23-26) formed in the suction nozzle body, and bonded. Therefore, even if a frictional force acts on a floor surface and the pile yarns during cleaning, no frictional force acts on the edge of the base fabric, so that the base fabric is hard to separate from the main body, and durability is improved.
