<p>A Fast Reroute method and a label switch router LSR in the communication technology field are provided. The label switch router includes: a path message determination module, a first determination module, a second determination module and a path message processing module, for determining whether the received path message is received from a bypass tunnel; if it is, then determining whether the protected tunnel passes the head node of a bypass tunnel that uses the current node as a merge point MP node; if it does not, then the path message is discarded, otherwise, the path message is accepted. If said path message is received through the ordinary path of a non-bypass tunnel, then it is determined whether the head node of the bypass tunnel being used is in the Record Route Object of the path message received from said ordinary path; if it is not, then the path message is accepted; otherwise, then said path message received from said ordinary path is discarded. By changing the process flow whereby nodes process path error messages and path messages, the present invention effectively resolves the problem of processing the failure of two adjacent links that are under bypass-tunnel protection.</p> |
