<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system capable of perfoming synchronized image display by a plurality of image display devices without reference to the kind of contents to be displayed. <P>SOLUTION: In the image display system 1, an image output device 11 includes an index signal generator 113 which generates a timing index signal and inserts it into an image signal, and an image signal transmitter 114 which transmits the image signal into which the timing index signal is inserted to image display devices. The image display devices 12 and 13 each have a timing index signal decoder 126 which decodes the timing index signal inserted into the image signal and a timing index signal transmitter 127 which transmits the decoded timing index signal to the other image display device 12 or 13, so that image display is synchronized through the transmission of the timing index signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
