摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel movement mechanism for an opposed member, capable of obtaining excellent linear motion accuracy through a simple structure, and a linear actuator using the same. SOLUTION: The parallel movement mechanism for the opposed member includes a base, a movable body disposed in parallel with and opposed to the base, a pair of linear grooves in the moving direction of the opposed surfaces, and magnetic spherical bodies maintaining the parallel condition between the movable body and the base through three-point support with two spherical bodies rotatable in the groove and the other one sphere, wherein permanent magnets having their magnetization boundary lines in the groove direction are arranged in the groove and in the separation lower part of the rotating surface of the base. Furthermore, a magnetic sphere having smaller diameter than a groove side magnetic sphere is arranged between the groove side magnetic spherical bodies. In addition to the parallel movement mechanism, the operating magnets of multipolar magnetization of both surfaces, wherein the surfaces with different poles adjacent only in the moving direction are opposed, are disposed on the movable body, the linear actuator further includes a driving means wherein a magnetic coil, which works a parallel movement force relative to the operating magnets, is disposed opposite to the base.
