<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more stably produce a component mounting board with high mounting accuracy by supplying components while taking individual difference of a feeder into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: A component supply method is provided for a surface mounting machine which takes out components supplied by tape feeders 15 provided in a feeder installation area 13, by heads 19 and mounts the components on a substrate P. While a rank being the capability index of the feeder is determined for each of the feeder, a request rank requested to produce the substrate P is determined based upon production conditions of the substrate P and a feeder 15 matching the request rank is installed in the feeder installation area 13 and supplies the components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
