PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt or chain type power transmission in which idling pulleys are arranged above and below with a driving pulley interposed, capable of reducing the weight of members and simplifying the fixation structure. SOLUTION: The power transmission is configured so that a support 36 made from a plate is fastened to the back face of a mast 11. An outward facing bracket 45 to support the driving pulley 27 and inward facing brackets 47 and 49 to support the idling pulleys 25 and 26 are fastened to the support 36 in the attitude facing oppositely obverse and reverse. Because the tension of a timing belt 21 exerts such an effect as pinching the support 36 with the inward facing brackets 47 and 49 and the outward facing bracket 45, there is no need to use large-size bolt(s) for fixing the brackets 45, 49, and 50, and also the arrangement is free of the effect to separate the support 36 from the mast 11, so that no sturdy construction is required in order to secure the support 36 to the mast 11.
