PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge-coating machine that does not generate large vertical vibrations, and that is capable of forming a hard and strong ridge which is less likely to collapse. SOLUTION: The ridge-coating machine 1 is equipped with a soil-banking body and a ridge former 4, positioned at the rear side of the soil-banking body. The ridge former 4 is equipped with a ridge side-face former 24 for forming a ridge side face by compacting banking, while rotating centered about a rotating center axis X. The ridge former 4 is equipped with a ridge top-face former 25 for forming a top side face by compacting banking, while rotating centered about a rotating center axis X. The ridge-side face former 24 has a plurality of side-face-forming plate parts 32, and a side face-side level difference part 34 exists between each neighboring-side-face forming plate parts 32. The ridge top face former 25 has a plurality of top-face forming plate parts 42, and a top-face side level difference part 44 exists between each neighboring top-face forming plate parts 42.
