A fuel line valve (1) for an aircraft, that comprises a shell (13) capable of rotation inside the valve body (16) and connected to a driving shaft (14) driven by an electric actuator (11). The valve further includes a torque generation means (18) and position detection means (19). The torque generation means are connected to the shell (13) and generate a torque that varies based on the position of said shell in the valve body (16) on the driving shaft (14). The position detection means (19) provide electric signals characterising the positions of said driving shaft. The invention also relates to a method for diagnosing the operation of such a valve in order to detect a failure during the operation thereof, and to a device for implementing said method. |
