<p>A delivery device for delivering a solid treatment into an orifice of an animal, the delivery device including: a chamber for the solid treatment, and an outlet for the solid treatment, and a displacement means for the solid treatment, and an actuator for activating a delivery force to be applied to the solid treatment via the displacement means to cause the solid treatment to exit the chamber through the outlet, and a rearming mechanism configured to apply a rearming force to the displacement member, and characterised in that the delivery device is configured such that a rearming force applied to the rearming mechanism is separate to and greater than the delivery force.</p> |
