BOOKLET COVER

A booklet cover (1) formed of synthetic resin for covering the surface of an article to be protected includes a cover body (2), and a cover insertion portion (3) provided in the cover body (2) in order to insert at least a part of the cover of the article to be protected. The cover insertion portion (3) has a front cover part located on the outside in the cover body (2) when the booklet cover (1) is closed; a lapel part (7) provided integrally on the periphery of the front cover part; a back cover part (8) located on the inside of the front cover part when it is bonded to the lapel part (7) oppositely to the front cover part and the booklet cover is closed; and an opening (9) for inserting the cover of the article to be protected. The length of one end edge portion forming the opening (9) of the back cover part (8) is formed shorter than the length of one end edge portion forming the opening (9) of the front cover part. Since the length of one end edge portion of the back cover part (8) is shorter than the length of one end edge portion of the front cover part (6), a clearance is formed in the side edge portion intersecting the opening (9) of the cover insertion portion (3) perpendicularly, and the booklet cover (1) can be attached easily to a member being protected.
