A plasma display filter exhibiting a center-line average roughness on visible-side outermost face, Ra, of 15 to 100 nm and a ten-point average roughness on visible-side outermost face, Rz, of 50 to 1000 nm and having a surface swell structure of 1 to 100 mum surface swell width, 1 to 500 mum surface swell length and 60 to 100% surface swell occupancy ratio provided on its visible-side outermost face. The obtained plasma display filter excels in the clarity of transmitted image and simultaneously exerts a strikingly high inward-reflection reducing effect.
