PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce mura defects of a display by measuring a gray level of each pixel of the display by an image sensing device and adding a corrective gray level to an input image. SOLUTION: A reduction method of mura defects of the display comprises: providing at least one gray level to a plurality of pixels of the display; illuminating each of the pixels with the gray level; adding a corrective value to the pixels so as to reduce the mura defects of the display which are visible by the human visual system; and adding a corrective value to the pixels so as not to reduce the mura defects of the display which are not visible by the human visual system.
