<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a positive electrode active material having an optimal particle composition applied to a Li ion cell; its manufacturing method; and a lithium cell using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode active material for a lithium cell is obtained by mixing positive electrode active material particles containing particles with a diameter of ≤3 wt.% of ≥10 μm, and particles with a diameter of ≥7 wt.% and ≤80 wt.% of <1μ, in liquid settling all of the above within one minute so that a density falls within 40 wt.%, dispersing it and removing the liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
