<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seal for a glass container excellent in water resistance regardless of the weathering of glass. <P>SOLUTION: After carrying out a hot end coating on the top surface of the mouth of the glass container, a coating agent in a water solution which includes casein and polyphenol and includes one or more kinds selected from copper sulfate, calcium hydroxide and iron chloride is coated on the top surface of the mouth of the glass container. Thereafter, a seal for the glass container becomes excellent in the water resistance regardless of the weathering of the glass by adhering a sealing material on which thermoplastic resin is applied to the top surface of the mouth of the glass container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
