PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve kinetic performance in backing by carrying out proper toe angle control of a rear wheel in backing a vehicle. SOLUTION: This rear wheel toe angle control device 17 free to individually control toe angles of the left and right rear wheels 5L, 5R of the vehicle 1 is constituted to be furnished with a gear position sensor 15 to detect backing motion of the vehicle and a target rear wheel toe angle setting part 22 to set target rear wheel toe angles of the left and right rear wheels on the toe-out side when the backing motion is detected by the gear position sensor, and it improves stability of the vehicle when the vehicle advances and backs.
