PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional AFS device for a motorcycle that rotates a shade assembled inside a projector type lamp according to the bank angle, that highly accurate parts and accurate assembling technology are required leading to deterioration in reliability and increase in costs. SOLUTION: This AFS device comprises a plurality of lamps disposed in a substantially V shape that is bilaterally symmetric by changing the installation height, and an inclination sensor for detecting the bank angle when the motorcycle passes a curved course. The lamp to be lit out of the plurality of lamps disposed in the substantially V shape on the opposite side from the inclination direction is switched higher as the bank angle of the vehicle body detected by the inclination sensor becomes larger. The AFS device matches the actual condition of motorcycles with movable portions fully eliminated, and is capable of improving reliability and reducing costs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
