PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal which estimates the time when the remaining battery capacity runs out and gives notice of the time when the remaining battery capacity runs out in advance while a user can charge the battery and to provide a method of giving notice of charging of the portable communication terminal. SOLUTION: The portable communication terminal 1 has a remaining battery capacity estimating means which estimates the remaining battery capacity, an information storing means which learns a usage pattern and a remaining battery capacity run-out time estimating means which estimates the time when the remaining battery capacity runs out from the remaining battery capacity and the usage pattern.
