PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio device having a plurality of radio parts allowing diversity, of which the miniaturization, thinning, weight reduction and cost reduction can be achieved by reducing the number of antennas. SOLUTION: A portable radio device 100 includes: first to third main antenna devices 101 to 103; first to third radio parts 111 to 113 which are connected to the first to third main antennas 101 to 103, respectively, and allow the diversity operation; a sub-antenna device 121 which is connected to one of the first to third radio parts 111 to 113 during the diversity operation; and a switching part 120 which switches connection between one of the first to third radio parts 111 to 113 and the sub-antenna device 121 during the diversity operation.
