ACTUATOR DIELECTRIC FILM AND ACTUATOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric film that outputs large force and obtains a large displacement when an actuator is constituted, and to provide the actuator with large force and displacement by using the dielectric film. SOLUTION: The actuator dielectric film 20 is installed between a plurality of electrodes 21a and 21b, it expands and contracts by a change of voltage applied between a plurality of the electrodes and is formed of nitril system rubber whose crosslinking density is not less than 5.49×10-6mol/cm3. The crosslinking density is large, so that Young's modulus of nitril system rubber is large and dielectric strength is also large. The actuator 1 using the dielectric film can obtain large force, and can obtain the larger displacement by applying high voltage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
