The arrangement has a shift fork (1) arranged on a shifter shaft (3) and rotatably supported around a rotational axis (8) over two bearing surfaces (9, 10). The fork is engaged over slide rings (14, 15) provided at an end of the shift fork arms (4, 5), where force transmission needed for operation of the shift fork is provided by a pin (7) and a lever arm (6). The shift fork and the pin are rotatably arranged with respect to wheel set (16) around an angle (alpha) such that force application takes place to the shift fork arms over the lever arm.
