<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generator reduced in nitrogen oxide in a combustion exhaust gas and improved in the thermal efficiency, and a fuel battery system equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen generator is equipped with a water trapping section which is disposed between a preheated evaporator and a reforming section and traps liquid water discharged from the preheated evaporator, and which is installed in the vicinity of a combustion chamber. A burner has the combustion chamber, a fuel injection hole to inject a fuel for combustion into the combustion chamber, and an air injection hole to inject air for combustion into the combustion chamber, and is configured to generate a combustion gas by mixing and burning the fuel for combustion and the air for combustion in the combustion chamber. The fuel injection hole is installed so as to position in the center of a cylindrical combustion gas flow path when viewed from the chief axial direction of the combustion gas flow path; and the air injection hole is installed so as to surround the fuel injection hole when viewed from the chief axial direction, and is configured such that the injection amount of air is increased as the air is more distant from the chief axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
