<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicore cable assembly that simplifies the operation of connecting a plurality of coaxial cables to the wiring pattern of a wiring board or of a connector and reduces the positioning accuracy required in the connecting operation, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the multicore cable assembly provided with a multicore cable (10) having a plurality of coaxial cables (1) and a wiring board (40) or a connector having a wiring pattern (41) in which the central conductor (2) of each coaxial cable (1) of the multicore cable (10) and an external conductor (4) are electrically connected to each other, an inclined cut surface (S1) at which the central conductor (2) and the external conductor (4) are exposed is formed in each of the plurality of coaxial cables (1) at the wiring board (40)-side end part of the multicore cable (10) in which the coaxial cables (1) are arranged in parallel, and the central conductor (2) and the external conductor (4) exposed at the inclined cut surface (S1) are directly connected to the wiring pattern (41). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
