<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for performing retransmission, taking into consideration the contents of transmission data, in wireless communication. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device detects whether a packet has been successfully delivered to a radio base station and performs retransmission control for retransmitting the packet, when delivery is unsuccessful (S4). In the retransmission control, the communication device accumulates the number of unsuccessfully delivered packets (S11), and discriminates a specific packet having prescribed identification information from among the packets to be retransmitted, when the accumulated number reaches a prescribed value (S14). As a result, packets other than the specific packet are retransmitted as they are (S15). When the specific packet exists among packets to be retransmitted, original transmission data are compressed and packetized (S16), and the compressed packet is transmitted instead of the specific packet to be retransmitted (S17). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
