<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose belt structure sufficiently satisfying requests for high pressure-resistance in recent years without increasing weight of a tire. <P>SOLUTION: A radial tire for an aircraft is equipped with a frame which is a carcass extending in a toroidal shape straddling between a pair of bead parts and a belt comprising at least two belt layers composed of a pry having a plurality of organic fiber cords coated with rubber on the outside of the carcass in the tire radial direction. In the belt, elongation L<SB>out</SB>in fracture of the radially outmost side belt layer is smaller than elongation L<SB>in</SB>in fracture of the radially innermost side belt layer, while a ratio L<SB>out</SB>/L<SB>in</SB>satisfies 0.8<L<SB>out</SB>/L<SB>in</SB><0.95. Further, between adjacent belt layers, elongation of a radial outside belt layer in fracture is not more than elongation of a radial inside belt layer in fracture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
