摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reset-to-zero structure for a chronograph pointer to perform reset-to-zero control for a chronograph pointer irrespective of its simple structure, and a chronograph timepiece equipped therewith. SOLUTION: The reset-to-zero structure 2 for the chronograph pointer of this chronograph timepiece includes a reset-to-zero cam 20 and a reset-to-zero spring 30. The reset-to-zero cam 20 is rotated in a normal direction D1 or a reverse direction D2 according to the rotation of a chronograph wheel 10 mounted with the chronograph pointer in the normal direction D1 or in the reverse direction D2, and the cam 20 includes a cam face 21 having an asymmetric shape with respect to the normal or reverse direction rotation while including a rotation regulating surface 24. The reset-to-zero spring 30 is fixed to a still-standing support on its base end side with its front end side elastically pressed against the cam face 21 of the cam 20. The reset-to-zero spring 30 includes a locking pawl 33 engaging with the regulating surface 24 of the cam face of the cam 20 to prevent further reverse direction rotation D2 of the cam 20 when the cam 20 is rotated in the reverse direction D2.
