PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide speeding up of short-circuit checks by shortening a charge time for capacitors existing in a circuit of an information processor and reducing the number of times of charging through the consideration of the circuit construction of the information processor being an object of short-circuiting check, the construction of a short-circuit check device, and order in which circuits are checked for short-circuiting. SOLUTION: In this short-circuit check system, a charge time for the circuit is shortened by adding a resistance in parallel to the capacitor to a circuit having large capacitive load of the capacitor as compared with the resistance in the circuit of the information processor and charging the capacitor in the circuit from a power supply mounted on the short-circuit check device, and the short-circuit check is sped up through the consideration of order in which short-circuiting checks are performed.
