摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent shift feeling in a speed change operating mechanism having a shift rod with a shift fork being mounted thereon via an inversion mechanism. SOLUTION: A speed change operating mechanism of a manual transmission comprises two shift rods 64, 66 for moving corresponding shift forks by the axial slide interlocking with the operation of a change lever in the shift direction, an inversion mechanism interposed between the shift rod 66 and its corresponding shift fork, and a turn regulating member 100 which is fixed to the shift rod 66, and holds the shift rod 64 slidably in the axial direction, and regulates the turn of the shift rod 66. The turn regulating member 100 comprises a body 104 fixed to the shift rod 66 and having two shaft parts 104a extending toward the shift rod 64 in the direction orthogonal to the axis thereof, and two cylindrical bodies 110 which are turnably supported by the two shaft parts 104a, and hold the shift rod 64 on its outer circumferential surface.
