PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cover, which uses a recycled nylon 66, has achieved light weight, while retaining conventional noise reduction effects, heat resistance and mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: The engine cover has an average thickness of≤2.0 mm, and comprises (a) a polyamide resin containing as an essential component at least one of mill ends and used recovery goods of a copper-based stabilizer-containing nylon 66 car airbag fiber, (b) a modified polypropylene resin, (c) a reinforcing material, (d) a metal inactivating agent, and a photo- or thermo-stabilizer and (e) a resin composition containing a viscosity modifier. In the mass ratio, (a)/(b)/(c)=45 to 80/15 to 35/5 to 20. The resin composition contains 0.005 to 10 pts.mass of the component (d) and 0.05 to 10 pts.mass of the component (e) to 100 pts.mass of the total amount of the components (a) to (c).
