PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high-quality product by sewing a cord-like material on cloth with almost 0 and a constant tension on a cord-like material supplied one after another to the needle hole. SOLUTION: Downward looseness of the loosened part for quantitative balance is set so that the tension toward the suspended portion approximately balances with the tension toward the loosened part at the balance roller. Near the guide for the cord-like material, a measuring means to measure the consumption of the cord-like material to be sewn on cloth is provided. The same amount of cord-like material as the consumption measured by the measuring means is supplied from the supplying means one after another toward the loosened part for quantitative balance and at the top of the balance roller, the tension toward the suspended portion always approximately balances with the tension toward the loosened part for quantitative balance.
