<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately reduce a transmission power while suppressing, to a minimum, deterioration of line quality. <P>SOLUTION: In a mobile communication terminal 1, normally, transmission power is controlled in response to a request from a base station device 2 and if average transmission power Wa that is an average value of transmission power during a monitoring term Ta is smaller than a threshold TH, transmission power is continuously controlled in response to the request from the base station device 2. If the average transmission power Wa is equal to or higher than the threshold TH, during a transmission power suppression term Tb following the monitoring term Ta, transmission power is controlled so that the average value of transmission power during a control term Tc summing up the monitoring term Ta and the transmission power suppression term Tb becomes equal to or lower than the threshold TH, thereby reducing the average value of the transmission power in the whole control term Tc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
