<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a register stand-by time in congestion, and to achieve merchandise purchase without using any change. <P>SOLUTION: The register device includes a means for reading customer identification information from the card of a customer; a means for calculating change amounts from deposited amounts and purchase merchandise total sum; and a means for transmitting the customer identification information and the change amounts to a management server. A change fare adjustment device includes a means for reading the customer identification information from the card of the customer; a means for transmitting the customer identification information to the management server; and a means for ejecting paper money with refund amounts received from the management server. The management server includes a means for storing change balance for every customer identification information; a means for adding the change balance and the change amounts received from the register device concerning the customer identification information received from the change fare adjustment device, and for setting the paper money refundable section of the added amounts as refund amounts, and for updating the change balance with the paper money non-refundable section of the added amounts; and a means for transmitting the refund amounts to the change fare adjustment device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
