PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine an ignition timing by quickly correcting a determined value VJ. SOLUTION: A determining part 612 for an engine ECU determines that knocking occurs when a knock strength N calculated depending on vibration strength is the determined value VJ or greater. An ignition timing control part 614 delays an ignition timing by a predetermined amount when that the knocking occurs is determined. A second correcting part 708 corrects the determined value VJ to be smaller when the determined value VJ is such a 90°integrated value lpkknk that the strength is integrated, or greater.
