PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin composition having excellent heat resistance and excellent welding properties to a polycarbonate resin, a polymethyl methacrylate resin, a cyclic olefin polymer resin etc., to provide a lamp body using a lamp housing part from the polypropylene resin composition, and to provide a method for producing the lamp body. SOLUTION: The polypropylene resin composition comprises 50-85 wt.% of a polypropylene resin, >0 to≤45 wt.% of a polystyrene resin and/or the polymethyl methacrylate resin, and≥5 to <50 wt.% of a styrenic elastomer. In the polypropylene resin composition, the sum total of the content of the polystyrene resin and/or the polymethyl methacrylate resin and the amount of the styrene monomer unit composing the styrenic elastomer is≥10 wt.%.
