<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the time for a sheet treatment device to treat a bundle of sheets by enlarging an interval of the bundles of sheets by adjusting a conveying speed of the sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A relay unit 18 conveys the sheet between an image formation part 6 for forming an image on the sheet and the sheet treatment device 119 for treating the sheets by making the sheets into a bundle-like shape while adjusting the interval of conveying of the sheet from the image formation part to the sheet treatment device. The relay unit 18 is provided with a pair of conveying rollers 42 for conveying the sheet; and a controller 311 for adjusting the sheet conveying speed of the pair of conveying rollers 42. The controller 311 controls the pair of conveying rollers 42 such that the sheet conveying speed when the last sheet of the sheets to be made into the bundle-like shape is conveyed is made faster relatively to the sheet conveying speed when a leading sheet of the following sheets to be made into the bundle-like shape to further enlarge the interval of the last sheet and the leading sheet more than the interval of the other sheets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
