PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for enabling a user to easily correct and change the process flow of a recipe while executing the recipe.

SOLUTION: This method includes: executing a recipe, and receiving process flow change information showing correction and change to the process flow of a recipe before completing the execution of the recipe. Afterwards, a process flow rule is read out of a process flow rule data structure. In response to determining that at least one requested change shown by the process flow change information is not violating one of process flow rules, the process flow of the recipe is corrected and changed based on the process flow change information.
