#CMT# #/CMT# The tool has a base plate (1) with a retainer (2) for insertion of a retaining element and a pusher (3). The pusher is movably arranged in the base plate for pushing the retaining element from the retainer onto a shaft. A positioning opening (4) is provided in the base plate, and arranged for mounting the retaining element on a shaft and an axle. The opening is designed to be adaptable to different diameters of the shaft and the axle. The positioning opening is provided in a housing part, which is extendable in the base plate. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Positioning tool for mounting a retaining element i.e. shaft retainer ring, on a shaft, an axle (all claimed) or a shaft stub and an axle stub for retaining a ball bearing against slippage on the shaft in machine construction application, and for connecting a switch cabinet for a switching gear, and inner movable element of the cabinet with the ball bearing. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The pusher is movably arranged in the base plate for pushing the retaining element from the retainer onto the shaft, thus avoiding the need for complex process in mechanical operation and simplifying mounting of the retaining element on the shaft and the axle with reduced time expenditure.
