<p>This invention provides a fluorescence observing device which can easily observe a site, of which the observation is contemplated, for example, an affected region, by a bright fluorescent image without increasing the output of a light source. A fluorescence observing device (1) comprises a broad band excitation part (7) for applying a broad band excitation light, which can excite a plurality of fluorescent materials contained in an object (A), a narrow band excitation part(8) for applying a narrow band excitation light, which can excite at least one of the fluorescent materials, an excitation band switching part (9) for performing switching between the broad band excitation part (7) and the narrow band excitation part (8), and a fluorescent detecting part (15) having a detecting wavelength band, which can detect both fluorescence emitted from the object (A) upon exposure to the broad band excitation light and fluorescence emitted from the object (A) upon exposure to the narrow band excitation light.</p> |
