<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold and heat transport method, its system, an operating method of the system, a storage device, and a hydrate manufacturing method using a cold and heat transport medium favorable from a perspective of thermal storage density. <P>SOLUTION: In the cold and heat transport method, a water solution including a clathrate hydrate product is cooled by heat exchange with a heat sink to produce a hydrate, and a cooling object is cooled by heat exchange with slurry of the hydrate.
