<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction in which a storage capacitor with sufficient electrostatic capacitance can be formed, in a transflective or total reflective liquid crystal device and in an electronic apparatus equipped with the liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: In an FFS mode liquid crystal device 100, a light reflection layer 8a is electrically connected to a thin film transistor 30 via a drain electrode 5b, and a pixel electrode 7a is electrically connected to the thin film transistor 30 via the light reflection layer 8a and the drain electrode 5b. Consequently a capacitive component produced by synthesizing a capacitive component C1 formed on a section where the pixel electrode 7a and a common electrode 9a are superposed with each other via an insulating film 74 and a capacitive component C2 formed on a section where the common electrode 9a and the light reflection layer 8a are superposed with each other via an insulating film 73 can be utilized as the storage capacitor 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
