PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrator reduced in thickness, and to provide a thin speaker device with the vibrator. SOLUTION: An edge 12 having a movable part 12c which has many V-shaped ridge line parts KH, V-shaped valley line parts KL, boundary ridge line parts KB1, boundary valley line parts KB2, etc. formed thereon and has a bending longitudinal cross-section is continuously provided in an outer peripheral edge part of a diaphragm 10 radiating a sound wave, and the edge 12 is fixed to a frame 6. When a voice coil 2 is vibrated by the law of electromagnetic induction to a magnetic circuit to vibrate the diaphragm 10, the edge height of the edge 12 can be reduced due to deformation of the movable part 12c, and thus the vibrator reduced in thickness and the thin speaker device with the vibrator can be obtained.
