DEVICE SEALER, SEALED DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device sealer effective of dehumidification to disable occurrence of a dark spot of organic EL and capable of sealing other various devices, and to provide a device sealed thereby and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The device sealer is composed of a base material layer (A) and a laminate (C) having a damp-proof layer (B) which is obtained by irradiating an energy line to unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt. The method of manufacturing the sealed device designates how store and seal the device by putting the damp-proof layer (B) of the device sealer to face inside. In the method of manufacturing the device sealer or the device, the damp-proof layer (B) is irradiated by the energy line to the unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt and the coating liquid that contains metal alkoxide and/or hydroxyl-containing polymer.
