PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety confirmation determination device capable of correctly determining whether a driver performs sufficient safety confirmation when entering an intersection. SOLUTION: The safety confirmation determination device is provided with: an image acquiring part 12 which is installed in a self-vehicle by being fixed thereto to sequentially acquire an image picked up by an imaging apparatus for imaging a range including at least the eyes of the driver of the own-vehicle when the own-vehicle enters the intersection; a black eye position detecting part 13 for detecting the position of a black eye from the image acquired by the image acquiring part 12; a visual line direction calculating part 14 for calculating the direction of a visual line of the driver on the basis of the position of the black eye detected by the black eye position detecting part 13; and a safety confirmation determining part 18 for determining whether the driver of the self-vehicle performs sufficient safety confirmation on the basis of the direction of the visual line calculated by the visual line direction calculating part 14.
