PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppressing system throughput from degrading by efficiently allocating system resources. SOLUTION: This resource allocation apparatus has an allocation means for allocating system resources to resource utilization means that utilize system resources installed in a computer system. The allocation means allocates the system resources to the resource utilization means according to allocation request information that indicates whether or not the allocation of a predetermined number of system resources set for each of the resource utilization means is requested.
