摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is necessary to properly select adopting either of making an air excessive rate lean or decrease of a throttle opening, when lowering engine output, in a cogeneration system using a hydrogen engine. SOLUTION: The cogeneration system using the hydrogen engine comprises an engine using hydrogen fuel, a generator driven by the engine, a heat supplying means capable of collecting exhaust heat of an engine and supplying that to a heating system and a hot water supplying system, an engine controlling means controlling generating amount by controlling the engine, and a heat supply request determining means determining whether the request for heat supply not less than predetermined setting amount exists or not. When the generating amount is lowered without the request for the heat supply not less than the setting amount, the air excessive rate is made to be lean while keeping the intake air amount of the engine. When the generating amount is lowered with the request of the heat supply not less than the setting amount, the intake air amount is reduced while prohibiting the air excessive rate to be made lean.
