PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic blade assembling device of simple structure, capable of automating surely and efficiently assembling work and replacing work in a slitter in a short time, without using complicated control, capable of handling a plurality of blades and a plurality of spacers at the same time or in parallel, excellent in operation stability, capable of shortening a working time, with excellent efficiency, drivability, operabilities and maintainability of the assembling work and replacing work for the blades. SOLUTION: This automatic blade assembling device is provided with a replacement carriage having upper and lower temporary arbors held to insert removably the round blades and the spacers and for receiving the blade and the spacer between the upper and lower arbors of the slitter, a magazine part having a magazine shaft for holding removably the round blades or the spacers classified in every kind and every thickness, and a moving mechanism having a moving shaft for holding removably the round blades or the spacers, so as to move the round blades and the spacers between the replacement carriage and a magazine part.
