PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas/liquid separator with a simple structure capable of efficiently separating a gas/liquid two-phase flow into a gas and a liquid. SOLUTION: The gas/liquid separator 10 for separating the gas/liquid two-phase flow 4 to the gas 3 and the liquid 2 is provided with a vessel 12 comprising a hollow cylindrical body part; a two-phase flow feeding pipe 13 for feeding the gas/liquid two-phase flow to the body part 12c of the vessel in a tangent direction; a gas delivery pipe 14 for delivering the gas from an apex part 12; and a liquid delivery pipe 15 for delivering the liquid from the vessel. The gas/liquid separator 10 is provided with a first baffle plate 16 for partitioning the body part to upper and lower parts and having an opening 16a at a center below the two-phase flow feeding pipe 13.
